Welcome to my new consulting page. Because I am one of those people who constantly has something to say – either to myself or others – I believe blogging is a wonderful tool.
For years, I worked in Corporate America while earning a decent living, but not all that personally satisfied. At heart, I was an entrepreneur who always desired the personal freedom to be in business for myself. I attempted many ventures part-time over the years, but fear of losing the “paycheck” kept me from going full-time. There was also, fear of failure, fear of lack of “good medical benefits”, fear of not earning enough to meet our families needs, etc… Today, I no longer have these fears; because my desire to help others gain and maintain their personal freedom overrides any fear I may have once had with respect to being entrepreneurial. Now, I know how rewarding it is to be a business owner!
I also know that there are many people with wonderful business ideas who just need assistance to take those ideas to another level. A little over a year ago, I had the opportunity to teach Business Plan Writing Workshops for a local (Phoenix) non-profit organization. This was by far one of the most positive and professionally rewarding experiences I have ever had. I learned a great deal about the human spirit – especially those who allow themselves to dream big and are willing to do the work to make it happen.
This blog is dedicated to those people in our society. People who dream, set goals, build businesses, take risks in spite of fears, and lead their lives in a manner in which they and those around them take pride in.
